Briefs of the Coursework Task

The Preliminary Task
To produce the front page of a new school or college magazine, featuring a photograph of a student in medium close up view, plus some appropriately laid out text and a masthead. Additionally candidates must produce a DTP mock-up of the contents page layout.

The Main Task
To design and create the front page, contents and double page spread of a new music magazine. If the magazine is designed in a group, each indivdual member of the group has to produce a different edition of the magazine following the same house style.
